If you just found me, I don’t know what brought you here.
Maybe it was a shared post.
Maybe someone sent you a link.
Maybe you went looking for something you couldn’t quite put into words.
Or maybe… you didn’t mean to end up here at all.
Either way—hi.
This is Mojo & The Mess. And it’s exactly what it sounds like.
This isn’t a highlight reel.
It’s not a “look how strong I am” kind of space.
It’s not clean or tied up or easy to read some days.
It’s real life, mid-fall-apart.
I write about what it’s like to live in a body that doesn’t feel safe anymore.
About cancer.
About scans and waiting and the kind of fear that doesn’t leave when the appointment ends.
About being young and having to think about things you’re not supposed to think about yet.
About trying to still be me in the middle of all of that.
Some posts will hit hard.
Some will be quieter.
Some will make you uncomfortable.
Some might make you feel seen in a way you weren’t expecting.
And some… will be written from the perspective of my dog, Mojo—because sometimes that’s the only way I can say what I mean without completely breaking.
If you’re here because you’re going through something like this—
I’m really sorry.
I hate that you understand any of this.
But you’re not alone in it.
If you’re here because someone you love is going through it—
Stay.
This space will help you understand the things people don’t always say out loud.
And if you’re here by accident—
You can leave. No hard feelings.
But if you stay, just know this:
This isn’t about inspiration.
It’s about honesty.
It’s about the parts people usually keep quiet.
It’s about what life actually looks like when it gets messy in a way you can’t fix.
I don’t have a clean message to wrap this up.
I’m still in it.
Still figuring it out.
Still writing from the middle, not the ending.
But I’m glad you’re here.
Even if you don’t stay long.
around a little—
The Blog tab is where everything lives. The messy, the honest, all of it.
The Resources page has the things I wish someone had handed me at the beginning—whether you’re the one going through it or trying to support someone who is.
And if you’ve asked yourself “how can I help?”—the Keep Mojo & The Mess Going page is where you’ll find ways to support this space and what I’m building here.
You don’t have to click anything right now.
Just being here means more than you probably realize.
