Keep Mojo and the Mess Going

Mojo & the Mess started as a place to tell the truth — about cancer, treatment, fear, love, and the parts no one prepares you for. It has grown into a space that reaches people sitting in chemo chairs, hospital rooms, waiting rooms, and quiet late-night moments when everything feels heavy. Keeping this space going takes time, energy, and resources — especially while navigating ongoing treatment. Support is never expected.
It is always optional.
And it is deeply appreciated.

A few of you have asked how you can help — and first of all, just being here, reading and sharing this space with me and Mojo means the world. But if you’d like to contribute in a more tangible way, I’ve put together an Amazon Gift List with some things that could make the hard days a little easier for both of us. From comfort items to cancer essentials (and yes, a few things for Mojo, the real boss around here), everything on the list is chosen with love and a whole lot of gratitude.

Thank you for being part of our village. 💛

— every bit means the world.

Thank you all for your continued support ❤️

I’m Izzy

Welcome to mojo and the mess, This isn’t the blog I ever expected to write — but it’s the one I needed.

I’m Izzy, a twenty-something living (and dying) with terminal cancer, navigating the messy, heartbreaking, unexpectedly beautiful in-between. Here, you’ll find raw reflections, real talk, dog snuggles (shoutout to Mojo), and the unfiltered truth about what it’s like to face the end of your life before it really got going.

This space is for the ones who’ve felt forgotten, the ones who don’t know what to say, and the ones who are still holding on. It’s not always pretty, but it’s always honest.

Thanks for being here. You’re part of the mess now — and I mean that in the best way.
