Cancer is confusing. Sometimes the questions are medical. Sometimes they’re awkward. Sometimes they’re the things you’re afraid to ask because you don’t want to sound insensitive.
So… ask me.
Whether you’re a patient, caregiver, friend, family member, or you’re just trying to understand what this life is really like, I’ll answer as honestly as I can. I can’t give medical advice, but I can share my experience, what I’ve learned, and the reality of living with cancer every day.
No question is too small.
Want to know what chemo actually feels like? Ask.
Not sure what to say to someone with cancer? Ask.
Wondering what to pack for treatment, what palliative care really means, or why scans are so emotionally exhausting? Ask.
If I don’t know the answer, I’ll tell you. If I do, I’ll answer with honesty, humor when I can, and zero sugarcoating.
Leave your questions in the comments, send me a message, or email me. Your question might help someone else who has been wondering the same thing.
Welcome to Ask Izzy. Let’s talk about the messy stuff.
